Snow White

 Snow White

Choreographed by Julie Green

Snow White, a ballet adaptation of the classic German fairytale, is the story of the virtuous princess Snow White and her wicked stepmother, the Queen. The Queen is told by her magic mirror that Snow White is the most beautiful woman in the kingdom. Envious of Snow White, the Queen gives her a poisoned apple. Snow White takes a bite of the apple and suddenly falls into an enchanted slumber. While Snow White is asleep, she is protected by an idiosyncratic yet lovable group of dwarves. A prince traveling nearby happens upon Snow White, awakening and falling in love with her. Together, the two defeat the evil Queen and bring joy to the kingdom.
